Lucky you, a chef created waffle-ization! Congrats on the shout out in the tribune...I agree the picture is rather flattering!

Great post and awesome article. It is a great picture, I think its the first time I've seen a picture of you! You're very cute!
Congrats.

Thanks, Lor. I'm a lot more comfortable on the other side of the lens, but I was pleasantly surprised with how it turned out.

This is hysterical. Why have I never used waffle as a verb before? Well I have, but not in this context. Looks yummy too.

ah ah ah, I love the idea. My wife, who is Belgian, is obsessed with waffles, and is complaining that the Chicago ones are not "real". I will point her out to your blog.

I am extraordinarily happy to find this blog. I have been obsessed with waffle irons for the past 10 years, but the only use I could think of other than making waffles was to hit a mugger on the side of a head with it in self-defence. There is more! There is so much more!

Living in the US after a few years in Europe (primarily France) I was always frustrated and annoyed by the local waffles here; now that I found your blog, I have a new reason to rejoice and maybe join the world of wafflemakers again!

Great picture! And that polenta looks amazing.

We blogged about this recipe and a few others; Waffled croque madame and the Waffled chocolate cake.

Love the site!!

Thanks for the link, and for saying that about the photo. To be honest, it's probably my favorite one on the blog so far.
